Guys this is a friendly reminder on various issues that has been brought to my attention today.
If you are visiting at a healthcare facility... especially a hospital your dog must be washed within 24 hours of the visit... even if it's an indoor dog.
All dogs must be on a flea protection protocol.
If your dog has allergies and itches often please have them checked out by a vet before continuing regular visits.
Never allow your dog when visiting at a hospital to jump up on a bed. There are to many possibilities of injury involved... thus... DON'T DO IT.
Don't allow your dog on any visit to shake hands unless you have their paw first presented to you and then hold on to their paw before presenting their paw to the person. (NEVER HAVE THEM SHAKE THE PATIENTS HAND WITHOUT YOU HAVING CONTROL FIRST.)
If you know of any incident at any facility we go to please report it not only in your report but call us immediately.
Don't assume we know that an incident occurred at a facility. (Call and report the incident.) Don't ever assume that we are aware of it. Help us to protect our liability insurance by letting us know.
This is all of our organization and it takes all of us working together and informing me personally to protect and this organization from issues that might arise.
Thanks
